THESE THINGS HAVE SERVED ME WELL ...
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN
In almost every aspect of my work, the skills of assessing a need, reviewing solutions, bringing teams to innovate and compromise - the very fabric of my instructional design training and experience - have come into play. Thinking about how people learn, how teams can innovate, how new ideas can become a reality - this is what I do regularly in my work
INNOVATION
Once I read Diffusion of Innovations (E. Rogers), I was hooked! I become antsy when processes are inefficient and I can see a better way - particularly where technology enables working smarter as humans. I welcome learning new information and am a quick learner of technology. The logical design and flow just naturally make sense to me. Instructional design & technology is a perfect profession for me - as it allows me to constantly challenge my assumptions and lead teams to dig for real answers that will help us solve instructional problems/challenges
